Our Lecture Series is pleased to welcome Major General Benjamin Watson to The Marines’ Memorial Club. MajGen Watson currently serves as Commanding General of the 1st Marine Division. His personal decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal, and Legion of Merit, among many others.

General Petraeus, former Commander of U.S. Central Command and Commander of Coalition Forces in Afghanistan, needs no further introduction. MMA invites you to this special evening with special VIP packages that include a meet & greet with General Petraeus.

MARINES' MEMORIAL 2023 LECTURE SERIES PRESENTS BGEN J.G. WOODWORTH, USMC THURSDAY 22 JUNE, 6PM

Our lecture series is pleased to have Brigadier General Jason Woodworth currently, the Commanding General, Marine Corps Installations West-Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California.

His previous assignment was as the Director of Manpower Plans and Policy, Manpower and Reserve Affairs.

Marines' Memorial is partnering with the Oakland Athletics for Military Appreciation Day on July 1st as they play the Chicago White Sox.

The MMA book fair was a roaring success! We thank all who came, gave a new home to our books, and donated to aid our mission of Commemorate, Educate, and Serve. 

Phil Gioia, the author of Danger Close, came to MMA for our "Meet the Author" series. It was a special evening to hear the perspective of a young officer who served two tours in two different divisions in Vietnam.
