For the first time, we have the distinct privilege of hosting the 74th Anniversary of the Commencement of the Korean War Commemoration on 25 June. The event starts at 11:00 am at the Korean War Memorial in the Presidio. Additionally, Mr. Bob Parsons, founder of GoDaddy.com and author of Fire in the Hole! will lead June's Meet-The-Author Speaker Series on 13 June.

Bob Parsons is a former Marine, recipient of the Purple Heart Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. He is best-known as the founder of GoDaddy, and is widely recognized for his entrepreneurial and philanthropic efforts.
In his literary debut, "Fire in the Hole!", Parsons recounts the exploits of his youth, his days in Catholic school, his harrowing tour of combat duty in Vietnam as a US Marine, his pioneering contributions to the software and internet industries, and his latest ventures in power sports, golf, real estate, and marketing.

The Marines' Memorial Association & Foundation announces the 74th Anniversary of the Commencement of the Korean War Commemoration. The event will be held on Tuesday 25 June 2024 from 11:00am - 12:00pm at the Korean War Memorial (across from the cemetery), in the Presidio of San Francisco.
The Marines' Memorial Association Living Memorial Project is truly proud to be the new steward of this memorial. We promise to continue the dignified tradition begun by the Korean War Memorial Foundation.

In this intimate event, we were delighted to host Don Faul, Crossfit CEO, in conversation with Board Member Tim Hsia.
Members and guests were fascinated by Faul's journey from the military to Google, to Facebook to Pinterest, and eventually to become the CEO of Crossfit. A story with many twists and turns that left the crowd on the edges of their seats!
