April 2024: Spring into San Francisco 

Welcome to the Marines' Memorial Crossroads Dispatch for April! This is the Month of the Military Child! We would like to extend our appreciation to all of our military children this month. We also want to send a huge thanks to everyone that supported our recent Gold Star Parents Event, especially the Travis AFB 1SGT Council! Also, the Marines' Memorial Club Fitness Center is coming together: our 25-yard, 3 lane pool is now open to guests!

Mr. Brennan is a former combat wounded grunt Marine NCO with tours in Fallujah and Helmand Province.  He received his graduate degree in Journalism from Columbia University.  Awarded many prestigious awards for outstanding journalism, Mr. Brennan was the first enlisted recipient of the 2023 Marine Corps Heritage Foundation John A. Lejeune Award for Exceptional Leadership.  In 2016, he founded the nonprofit news The War Horse, to provide reporting on the human impact of military service.

U.S. Ambassador at Large for Cyberspace and Digital Policy

Ambassador Nate Fick is a former U.S. Marine Corps infantry recon officer with combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. His book about that experience, One Bullet Away, was a New York Times bestseller, a Washington Post “Best Book of the Year,” and one of the Military Times “Best Military Books of the Decade.”

Bob Parsons is a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam veteran, recipient of the Purple Heart Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry.  He is possibly best-known as the founder of GoDaddy, is widely recognized for his entrepreneurial and philanthropic efforts. 

In his literary debut, "Fire in the Hole!", this extraordinary entrepreneur recounts the exploits of his youth, his hellish days at the mercy of Catholic school nuns, his harrowing tour of combat duty in Vietnam as a US Marine, his pioneering contributions to the software and internet industries, and his latest ventures in power sports, golf, real estate, and marketing.
